The Carriage Shuttle is the newest group transportation solution located in the Greater Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. We offer a comfortable, safe, fun, convenient experience. The Carriage can accommodate any group travel need from birthdays and anniversary celebrations, winery and brewery tours, airport transfers, corporate events, sports events, festivals and more!

 

The Carriage is a 14-passenger Freightliner M2 Shuttle. It offers spacious seating, a large 50” TV in the rear and an addition 32” TV in the front. It has a small refrigerator to keep food and beverages cool. If you prefer a fun light show for your trip, The Carriage can deliver in style! Mobile internet provides your guests with reliable wifi while in route and also supports smart electronics that support your playlists for music and streaming choices for videos YouTube, VIMEO, Spotify, ESPN and others.

Our chauffeurs are professional, respectable and responsible. They understand that nothing is more important than making sure you’re comfortable, safe and having a good time while in their care.

 

Our business is officially registered by Virginia DMV for group travel within the Commonwealth of Virginia. In addition, The Carriage is bonded, licensed and insured.

 

Our home base is Augusta County, VA but we can provide services locally or across the state!

Questions

  • Can You Eat on The Bus?
    Yes, eating is allowed. The Carriage has a small refrigerator where you can keep food or drinks cold.
  • Is there a minimum hour requirement?
    Minimum hours of service will be no less than three (3) hours except for fixed fee trips (see below).
  • What is our requirement for clean up at the end of the reservation?
    Trash and recycling receptacles are available for our guests and we ask that you place all trash in the receptacles. We ask that you leave The Carriage in a condition that would not result in special cleaning requirements. Should special cleaning be required because of excessive spillage, trash, smoking, vaping or other excessive mess, a $500 damage fee will be charged following the trip completion.
  • When Does My Reservation Begin and End?
    Your reservation will start at the pickup location when the first passenger loads and ends at the last passenger drop off location.
  • Are passengers under the age of 21 allowed?
    If passengers will be riding who are under the age of 21 and there will be alcohol consumption on the bus, please disclose that during the reservation process. Additional forms will be required. All passengers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
  • Can you cancel a reservation?
    You may change or cancel your reservation with a full refund if you contact The Carriage no later than 14 days before the trip date. If a deposit has been submitted, changes to the schedule or cancellation requests shall be made in writing by email to: thecarriageshuttle@gmail.com. No cancellations will be accepted within 14 days before the trip date and no refunds will be made for cancellations received within 14 days of the trip. We will try to accommodate changes to the itinerary on a case-by-case basis and in accordance to the availability of the shuttle. Fixed rate trips may be cancelled up to 48 hours before service date.
  • How Far in Advance Should You Book The Carriage?
    We ask you make reservations at least 14 days in advance. To guarantee availability, please make your reservation earlier.
  • Can You Smoke Cigarettes or use Vape Devices On The Bus?
    The Carriage is a non-smoking, non-vaping shuttle.
  • What are examples of fixed fee trips?
    The Carriage can be your solution for one way drop off transport to airports, local venues, local sporting events or other destinations in or around the Greater Shenandoah Valley and Virginia's Blue Ridge. These trips will be quoted as a fixed fee engagement but will be based on one hour of service by law.
  • Can You Drink Alcohol On The Bus?
    Drinking alcohol is allowed for all passengers 21 and over. You may not take alcohol or any open container off the shuttle when a stop is made. No one is allowed to bring open containers onto the bus at any time. Non-alcoholic beverages are welcome as well.
